A great short documentary about Ezra Caldwell from Fast Boy Cycles
The Bureau of Common Goods is a Brooklyn Based film and digital content studio. They have launched the Made by Hand video series to document people that create things by hand and are very passionate about their work. The Bike Maker, which is their fifth film is about Ezra Caldwell who is the founder of Fast Boy Cycles. Ezra is a real crafstman from New York who loves to built unique bicycles that are made out of steel. Besides working with steel frames, Ezra also likes to create wooden products that give an extra functional touch to the bikes. The Made by Hand’s fifth film is a real piece of art. It gives a great view of Ezra Caldwell and his passion for bicycles. While coping with cancer Ezra tries to keep his love for biking.. I really like the blend of nice frames with retro saddles and woodwork.
